She and Chris Perform at the Wayside Theatre
Fresh out of The Catholic University of America in 1968, she landed one of her first professional gigs at Virginia’s Wayside Theatre, sharing the stage with Chris Sarandon. The repertory experience pulled her out of academic theater and into the real demands of paid performance — live audiences, tight schedules, and the kind of discipline that would carry her straight into New York film auditions.
